Back at DLI I briefly conducted an a cappella rendition of "I Wanna Rock (!)" as performed by class section. The role of screaming out "ROCK!" was handled admirably by our resident A-10 pilot (oftened referred to as "The Sir")
On another note, sometimes I can't believe I get paid.
During a recent lesson we were teaching the 7th graders the word for 'rock concert'. I was quite tempted to do a kiss-style yelling of rock, getting down on one knee, flailing my hair about and making a classic 'rock' face while yelling said word very loudly, but I figured that would benefit neither my reputation nor the reputation of foreigners in Japan in general. Thus I abstained.
Sigh.
Anyway, you coming back anytime soonish? And by soonnish I mean next week?
